Just how much to reveal?

When you’re living in the same city as many people you have known for decades, it is difficult to decide how much of yourself to share on a blog or a board like TER. You fear that giving too much away will make someone recognize you, but you also think that not giving enough away can make you one-dimensional and boring. I often struggle with what kind of posts to write because of this, and have tried sticking to pretty neutral topics so I don’t give too much away.
This is a real problem for me because I love to share myself (I guess that’s why I am an escort and companion) and learn about others. Sure, I can still learn about others, but it is hard to learn about what you have in common with someone if you can’t share too much.
If I attend a neat event I can’t write about it if my people know I have been. If I read a neat book, I can only write about it if I haven’t shared it with my people. (Hey, maybe that is the answer: read some books for myself and some books for Sarah.)
So I want to apologize right here and right now for not being as interesting as I really think I am. I can share much more in person, I promise.
